Introduction
Sport has impacted and been woven into the fabric of Canadian history and society since the very early days of Canada. As a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Canada and in partnership with eleven major organizations in Canada, this online exhibit features five main sport themes covering various time periods of Canadian history from 1867 to the Present. Within each sport theme and exhibit gallery you will find mini-documentaries, host narrated by some of Canada’s premier athletes and sport reporters, video based artefact webisodes and over 650 photos with their own unique story.
